Patch Plant Hotel, the world’s first hotel for plants

If you are one of those who think that everything has been invented, welcome to my unique products section of the blog. I present Patch Plant Hotel, the first hotel for plants in the world. As you can hear. We had heard about hotels for people, even for pets, but… for plants?

Like any good (and curious) project, it has an insight that triggers the idea. Everything was born back in 2015, when the entrepreneur Freddie Blackett launched a project called patchplants.com. His goal was to help people choose the best plants for their spaces.

In record time, his plant store managed to become nothing less than the first company in the UK to manage to sell more than 1 million plants online. Brutal.

The patchplant.com store evolves into a very suggestive concept: Patch Plant Hotel, the world’s first hotel for plants

The constant interaction with customers gives Freddie that insight we were talking about. He discovered that plant lovers were very anxious about going on a trip, as there was no one to take care of their plants.

A business opportunity that Freddie did not waste and, together with his team, decided to launch Patch Plant Hotel, the first hotel for plants in the world. This unique space is located in London and has the capacity to house up to 200 plants and take care of them while their owners are on the road.

The plant hotel can accommodate everything from sun-seeking plants to shade-seeking ones. The hotel team makes sure that their particular guests are kept hydrated and well cared for while their owners enjoy their trip without any worries.

How can I make a reservation? Just like a regular hotel for people. You visit the Patch Plant Hotel website and proceed to choose the check-in and check-out days to check availability. Once the reservation is confirmed, you receive instructions on how to leave the plant at the hotel.

Undoubtedly, an excellent business idea to be exported to other markets such as the Spanish one. Anyone who dares? I’ll leave it there!
