Have you noticed that Whatsapp is never there when you expect it? Tell me that it has also happened to you that when you need it the most, it responds the least.
It is very curious. I have performed several tests to try to certify a fact that I sensed. As users, we have the habit of turning to this digital communication channel in which we have placed expectations of urgency.
We live in the era of immediacy, of the fast and when we need something, Whatsapp is a resource for immediate consultation. But does the receiver feel the same as the sender? Absolutely not. When we play the role of message senders, our expectations are very specific. But when we play the role of message receivers, that expectation simply does not exist.

Expectations, immediacy, urgency… all this and much more is part of the Whatsapp environment
When you are in an urgent situation and you jump on the application to contact someone, you unwittingly interpret that someone is waiting for your message. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is an expectation fruit of our imagination. Sometimes it is fulfilled, but most of the time it is not.
Many scenarios can occur if we focus on the receiver of the message. He has left his cell phone somewhere else, he has it silenced, other messages are coming in, he is in a meeting, he is…. Imagine the number of moments and situations, so why should he answer us immediately?
We have been carried away by tools like this, which have changed our behavior, have installed a habit and make us believe things that may not come true. Even so, Whatsapp is a wonderful tool that allows us incredible things.
