Fake Out of Home Advertising (FOOH): what it is and what it is for

Today we are featuring a new concept: Fake Out of Home Advertising (FOOH). It refers to a branch of outdoor advertising that uses CGI (Computer Generated Image) technology to create realistic images of advertisements that defy reality.

These immersive representations aim to capture attention, as well as to generate participation and make noise in social networks. Its true hallmark is its hyper-realistic nature.

Through augmented reality or CGI techniques, these commercials create digital content that can easily be mistaken for actual real-world experiences.

FOOH expectations for the future

Technology is advancing explosively and this technique is rapidly improving its performance, generating interesting opportunities. Obviously, accessibility for the moment is limited to major brands with budgets commensurate with the advertising investment.

We will be attentive to what the future holds in this regard and we will be able to see how far creative concepts can go. Perhaps, the fusion of technologies can result in something even more surprising, where the interaction with advertising itself is a transcendent element.
