Undoubtedly, creativity is a process inherent to the human being that has enormous value. Today we talk about something that goes beyond that and we enter the territory of meta-creativity as a strategic concept of the creative process.

Creativity has often been assigned as a special quality belonging only to some people. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Creativity can be trained and there are a multitude of techniques and methodologies for it.

Moreover, creativity is a process that crosses dimensions and connects them with each other. It is capable of generating relationships between thought, emotions, perceptions, contexts and many other variables. This is precisely where the concept of meta-creativity is born. A new approach of greater breadth, integration and globality.

In today’s fragile, ambiguous, non-linear and uncertain BANI environment, creative capacity is essential. For this, it is necessary to be aware of how creativity is stimulated, how it appears and expresses itself, what is its purpose and scope of application.

The concept of meta-creativity includes the “why” as an essential element. We are facing a time of important and constant changes such as digitalization, robotics, artificial intelligence, globalization, multi-culture or climate change, among others. In view of this, this concept acquires all the strategic sense.

There are some lines of action that provide us with multiple possibilities for development, such as:

  • Knowing how to identify creative potential
  • Encouraging and energizing creative processes by betting on the didactics of creativity
  • To develop and promote collaborative creativity
  • Design and build environments favorable to the creative process
  • Activate the engines that drive creativity
  • Develop practices that foster creative culture

Creativity is a huge intangible asset present in all people that evolves according to the need to adapt to the new requirements of the environment. The world changes and with it our awareness and our creativity.
